Microsoft produce a free piece of software called Photostory . You can make excellent films using this software without a camera. Here is a superb example made by P6 school pupils. It is important to note that this class had done a lot of pre-production and work with the 3C’s and 3S’s before creating this powerful short film.
The key to making a good photostory film, as with any other film, is to first start with a good script. So:
1. Choose a theme
2. Make plans
3. Do research
4. Create a purpose
5. Identify an audience
6. Write a script
7. Draw a storyboard
8. THEN make a film.
Here are some links about using Microsoft Photostory 3.
